<p style="text-align: justify;">Waheeda Rehman was rejected for Guide: 60 और 70 के दशक की मशहूर एक्ट्रेस वहीदा रहमान (Waheeda Rehman) ने साल 1956 में फिल्म 'सीआईडी' से बॉलीवुड में कदम रखा था, जिसमें सुपरस्टार देव आनंद (Dev Anand) लीड रोल में थे. इस फिल्म के बाद वहीदा रहमान (Waheeda Rehman) और देव आनंद (Dev Anand) ने फिल्म 'गाइड' में भी साथ काम किया था. फिल्म ने बॉक्सऑफिस पर खूब कमाई की थी. हालांकि, कम ही लोग जानते हैं कि इस फिल्म के लिए पहले वहीदा रहमान (Waheeda Rehman) को रिजेक्ट कर दिया था. लेकिन देव आनंद (Dev Anand) की ज़िद की वजह से वो इस फिल्म में काम कर पाईं. इस बात का खुलासा खुद वहीदा ने अपने एक इंटरव्यू में किया था. वहीदा रहमान ने अपने इंटरव्यू में बताया कि, 'मैं देव आनंद की बहुत बड़ी फैन थी. मेरी पहली फिल्म उन्हीं के साथ थी. पहली मुलाकात में उन्होंने मुझसे कहा था, 'कैसी हो वही? चलो जल्दी शूटिंग करें'.</p> <blockquote class="instagram-media" style="background: #FFF;
